technically, DC could of sued you for that video the same is true for mojang ! fair use is never really any defense. that was seen by marvel when they decided to stop "fair use" of their products and shut down major sites back int he sam raimi spiderman which was in 2002. the only real difference, is that DC do not care if its not used within their actual use of the character. basically they do not care as long as you make your own. but really, if DC wanted to sue you, you'd lose even if you brought fair use, you'd stil lose becaause you used superman and thats not fair use. you'd have to proove that its not superman, you'd have to rename the guy int he video, redo a lot fo changes. all i'm saying is... there are prrecedant of big companies deciding to take down any copyright claims that were supposedly fair use. the real problem is that your vieos do use copyright materials and then monetise them... thats the moetisation thats a problem, its not fair use when you start monetising it. as another example... even if i put only 10 seconds of a musique in a video... i will get a copyright claim for it. its the same for your superman video. again, there are many precedants to this fair use claim and thats a real problem because fair use isn't really a good law and pretty much every big company seems to easily say its not fair use. so people.. stop using fair use as an excuse... there is strickly no excuse in using others materials. want to create superman, go for it, but change his name and logo... thats really all you need to do !

You used to be able to add ads into your watch later on LTsection. I got one of those fake Minecraft apps and the video linked to the original video.

I think that because you make videos using other IP under fair use, people like this are specifically using your videos. They probably know that LTsection won't protect you because LTsection thinks that you are probably also infringing on copyright . LTsection certainly has a problem understanding fair use, I recall you even made a video on this before.

It’s such a shame that these things are so prevalent during these times... I remember a while back a music producer I listened to had his most popular song with millions of views effectively stolen from him by some dirtbag pretending to have the rights to a remix of this artist’s song and using the remix to copyright claim the original... I believe things ended up working out near the end, but it is such a shame to see these random people just going up to something and being like “mine”. It is good to see that, at least from what it sounds like, your situation with the Superman video was a case of misunderstanding and was quickly resolved, but LTsection, Google and the other big companies should really do a better job protecting content creators like you from such sleazy black market tactics or accidental stealing. Understand that I know that some of these cases are genuine mistakes by people or companies, and I’m okay I f people make a mistake, but then fix it upon realizing it’s wrong and whatnot, it’s just frustrating when someone does it purposely and just doesn’t care... Keep up the awesome work you guys, I’ve been watching your stuff for about a year now, and it’s been really cool seeing you guys do all these cool things!

And why not uploading a version of the video with some integrated corridor crew trademark in some corner of the video and use a clean version of the same video at your webpage available by a subscription? In this way if someone use a video for their merchandise it would be visible who is the owner...and in a way is free advertisement which will attract more subs....or prevent someone from using someone elses content:)

I also have a feeling, the following is true, if you are a small start up, given that they seem to have a ton of love for small business Ask them, show them your product and allow them to see its not going to be an embarassment to them, and they might let you use it for a nominal fee, or even for free, with just credit, and a link to the video you took it from at the end of your advertismement If you have a good product, send them samples of it, they will probably do a small advertisement for you and your product at the beginning of their videos for you, and if its really really good, they may even work with you, on making an professional quality ad for it, for a really reasonable fee And i am sure, if you have a good product or service, and a big budget, even if you don't send them a sample, you can probable hire them to make an awesome quality commercial
