They know that the outside of the microwave is more than likely going to rot so signing on that fresh white paint is not gonna matter. It is going to degrade. And be washed away. Also, more than likely, that microwave is gonna be found when someone in the future decides to build on that small plot of land, especially since land in cities is becoming rarer and rarer so each spot is valuable. Even if it is that small, a small business could still be built there.
